Dr. Taylor Feimster is originally from Seal Beach, CA and grew up receiving chiropractic care from a young age as her mother highly valued chiropractic care herself. In the years leading up to high school she was heavily influenced by her strength and conditioning coach who planted in her a desire to understand the human body, its function, and the need for proper nutrition in order to perform optimally. During high school Taylor pursued her artistic interests of vocal performance, art, and piano while simultaneously training with an elite rowing coach.
In 2012 she graduated from high school and began further education in the function of the body, studying Exercise Science at Liberty University. She also rowed on the women’s club rowing team while in school. In May of 2016, Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.S. in Exercise Science and as an ACSM Exercise Physiologist (EP-C).
Following graduation, she moved to Washington state where her family had relocated and worked as a personal trainer concurrently nurturing her love for mountains and outdoor adventure.
After one year in Washington, Dr. Taylor pursued her passion of becoming a provider of holistic health care through chiropractic by attending Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. During this time, she further explored her passion for functional medicine, prenatal and pediatric care, and proper movement/rehab through her education. She sought further education in these topics through additional courses outside of school and extensive weekend seminars.
While at Logan, she was introduced to the Motion Palpation Institute club and the Functional Medicine club, both of which greatly influenced her education. Dr. Taylor completed clinical rotations at Logan University’s Viscero-somatic Center which focused on treating patients through functional medicine and Logan’s Pediatric Clinic, which is one of the few pediatric chiropractic rotations available for students to participate in and provides an abundance of hands-on training.
Through her education she was introduced to the Institute of Functional Medicine, Pediatric bodywork with Belvedere Integrate Healing Arts, Motion Palpation Institute, Craniosacral Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Myofascial Release Technique (MRT), Trigenics and many more therapies and techniques. She has a genuine interest in treating families, and is pursuing specialized training in Pregnancy and Pediatric Chiropractic.
Outside of the clinic Dr. Taylor enjoys hiking, exploring Gallatin Valley with her husband Colt, crushing a challenging workout, reading, and nerding out on all things health. Dr. Taylor is honored to treat the people of Gallatin Valley and play a role in nurturing optimal health!
