Thank you for trusting Pro Chiropractic with your health! Below you’ll find information about what to expect on your first visit, information regarding insurance, and access to new patient forms. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions at all.

Consultation: You will have a consultation with one of our professional team members to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. As a new patient, your first visit is when the doctor can learn about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care would address your goals.

Examination: After your consultation, one of our doctors will perform a comprehensive chiropractic examination. This likely includes testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend, and other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent. Pro Chiropractic utilizes the latest motion capture and biostructural technology to ensure an accurate and thorough diagnosis. Most importantly, we ask you questions to learn about your injuries, concerns, goals, and any other need — and we truly listen to what you share with us.

X-Rays: Your specific condition may require x-rays for a full evaluation and correct diagnosis. Pro Chiropractic takes x-rays to help us rule out more serious conditions, or to assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Many people are amazed once they see their x-rays, and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Report of Findings: Once your initial exam is complete, your Pro Chiropractic doctor will walk you through the diagnostic process and data — a report of findings. We value transparency, and respect your individual choice regarding what’s best for your own body.

The three most common questions new patients ask are:

• What do you recommend that I do to get better?
• How much is it going to cost?

After your consultation, examination, and reviewing a report of findings, x-rays, or other tests, your doctor will discuss their recommendations for care with you. If you have a condition that may be positively impacted by care from other providers, our doctor will tell you. We will recommend treatment and a wellness program if we believe we can help you here at Pro Chiropractic.

Treatment: Once we have clarified your treatment plan, we typically begin performing initial treatments during the first appointment. This may include spinal adjustments, physical medicine, and/or soft tissue therapies. Treatment is interactive and transparent, so you can express any concerns you have about the style of adjustment you are experiencing, and what you are most comfortable with.

Before you leave: Before the end of an initial appointment, Pro Chiropractic will walk you through a simple, personalized wellness program to be conducted at home. Suppose you are in pain when you first come into our office; in that case, your wellness program may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, and home exercises or stretches. If you’re seeking a healthier overall lifestyle, our wellness team will work with you to create good habits and routines that support your success, including good posture, spinal alignment, a healthy diet, supplements, a healthy eight, and stress relief. Everybody and every body is different — and therefore, everyone deserves a unique, customized wellness plan.
