Dr. Forrest Allen is originally from Bismarck, ND and was exposed to chiropractic at a young age as his family’s close friends were chiropractors. He was always fascinated at how the human body moves and works, and also with alternative medicine. During his high school years, he ran cross country and track and was part of the drumline. Growing up, Forrest and his father took many ski trips to Montana and he fell in love with the mountains and the outdoors at a very young age. He graduated from Century High School in 2012 and continued on to Montana State University to study Health and Human Performance.

Going through his undergraduate studies, his passion for the body and how it moves and functions grew even more. In his last semester at MSU, he interned here at Pro Chiropractic! He loved his time learning with our team and has wanted to come back ever since. Additionally, in his last semester at MSU, he became an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He graduated in the fall of 2015 with a B.S. degree in Health and Human Performance and was awarded as the Education, Health and Human Development Student of the Year.

Dr. Allen then moved on to chiropractic school at Logan University in Chesterfield, MO. During his time at Logan, he was heavily involved in Motion Palpation Institute and served as the Logan club president for two trimesters. Throughout his clinical rotations, Dr. Allen had the opportunity to serve a unique chronic-pain population at Affinia Healthcare in St. Louis, which provided invaluable experience on how to understand, communicate with and educate patients. He also finished his clinical experience with an 8-month internship at Winchester Spine and Sport in Troy, MO before graduating in April 2019. Additionally, throughout chiropractic school, he took over 580 hours of extra-curricular seminar training in things like adjusting (MPI), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS rehab), reflex locomotion, dry needling, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Active Release Technique (ART), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), TMJ dysfunction, kinesiology taping, instrument-assisted soft tissue methods (IASTM), functional medicine and nutrition. He is certified in dry needling, ART, SFMA, FTMI, FAKTR, RockTape and Dynamic Tape.  In 2019 Dr. Forrest tested and achieved standing as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP)
